Welcome to SNEL at KAIST!
Our lab focuses on 'Soft brain-machine interfaces' that interact with brain and nerves using soft, biocompatible, and functional materials such as (semi-)conducting polymers, hydrogels and elastomers, along with devices including high-density neural probes, neuromorphic prosthetics, and wearable/implantable biomedical applications.
Through this, we aim to improve our understanding of the brain and nervous system and develop a next-generation soft, low-power neuromorphic prosthetic system that helps rehabilitate patients with neurological diseases.
Open Position
We are looking for motivated postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduate students & interns to research soft electronic materials and devices for neural engineering, including neural interfaces, neuromorphics, and biomedical devices.
Please email Prof. Yeongjun Lee (yeongjun@kaist.ac.kr), with your research interests, short CV, and transcript.
